Virtual Show Room

The Revit Virtual Showroom project file provides users with an overview of the Revit® content’s visualisation, documentation and scheduling capability in a Revit ® project environment.

It can be used by BIM Managers as a QA tool in that it demonstrates uniformity and consistency of the materials. By providing this QA tool, Dulux is aiming to facilitate a more rapid integration of their Revit content into firm-based libraries.

They can also be used to browse through the entire range, then copy / paste your selections straight into project models.
To copy from a Dulux Powders‘Virtual Showroom’ (.RVT file) simply:

  1. Open the Virtual Showroom in the same session of Revit
  2. Copy the material to the clipboard
  3. Switch back to your project, paste and place the material generic model swatch
  4. Delete and/or Purge the generic model swatch (Use the material at least once beforehand, if using ‘purge all’)

The Dulux Powder Coatings Virtual Showroom includes:

  • All finishes and groups laid out side by side
  • Plan View in Realistic, Shaded and Hidden Line modes
