EPDs now available

We’re proud to announce that we have recently completed 33 EPDs across our range of powder coatings.

With a focus on transparency and rigour, our EPDs are product and region specific to reflect where our products are manufactured and sold, ensuring the environmental impacts reflect local conditions as accurately as possible. Our Dulux Powder Coatings EPDs published for Australia apply to the following product ranges:

• Armourspray, Alphatec, Charisma, Duralloy, Duralloy RapidCure, Duratec, Electro, Fluoroset, POP, Precious, Protexture and Sublicoat

EPDs for these product ranges have also been published under our DGL International brand* covering Australian projects sourced offshore with DGL powder coatings manufactured and applied in Asia. Dedicated EPDs have also been produced for New Zealand.

Our EPDs are based on comprehensive Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) providing independently verified environmental performance data to help building professionals make informed choices. They can also be used to support submissions and credit requirements for sustainability rating schemes such as Green Star.

We’ve also developed a handy Understanding Environmental Product Declarations guide that provides useful information on the building life cycle, carbon in the built environment, the types of information contained in an EPD and how to use Dulux Powder Coatings EPDs.
