St. Francis Xavier College, a Catholic secondary school on the outskirts of Melbourne was a finalist in the 36th Dulux Colour Awards (2022) in the Commercial and Multi-Residential Exterior category.
The various green elements of the façade, including Duratec Intensity Leaf on the building’s sunshades, work to form a strong band of colour that floats like a parallel line of grass above the fields and works to settle the building into the vibrant grass surrounding it.
The building’s aluminium sunshades have been powder coated in bright Duratec Intensity Leaf, and Duratec Zeus Chalk USA (made to order colour) has been used on the aluminium window and door frames.
